Peach is an efficient plant-based & 100% plastic-free personal care brand. Created by Grove Collaborative, Peach is on a mission to eliminate plastic out of the personal care category.

Because bars of soap are often associate with the dull and mundane, Grove set out to design packaging for the product that was just the opposite. By implementing bright colors and fun typography while still maintaining packaging made from 100% recycled content paper board (lower carbon footprint) and fully recyclable, this is a brand with a bigger purpose. Peach is sparking a mass movement towards sustainable living by demonstrating that plastic-free personal care can be efficient and beautiful simultaneously.

Plastic is a serious issue and consumers are becoming more aware of this. In the beauty & personal care industry alone, there are over 120 billion packaging units created per year globally, according to Zero Waste Europe, and 91% of the plastic has not been recycled, according to National Geographic. 

Grove Collaborative, a certied B Corp and leading digital first company and e-commerce platform for sustainable Home & Personal Care, believes that CPG brands & products can be a force for good. Grove’s five-year mission to move “Beyond Plastic” aims to help solve the single-use plastic problem across these categories. To further their mission, Grove Collaborative launched Peach, an ecacious plant-based & 100% plastic-free personal care brand with no compromise on product performance. Historically, bar soaps have carried a reputation of being boring, ineective and underwhelming, especially in the hair care category as consumers have had to compromise performance for sustainability, a tough-sell in the results-oriented personal care space. With Peach, we are completely changing the way consumers feel about bar formats and aim to educate them and change habits by showcasing that they can still get high performance while choosing to live sustainably. We also uncovered that consumers are looking for more ways to eliminate plastic from their lives, and Peach is sparking a mass movement to sustainable living by proving that plastic-free personal care can be highly ecacious and highly sensorial. Peach’s shampoos, conditioners, face washes, and hand & body washes eliminate anywhere from one to three plastic bottles per bar! 

Peach packaging is made from 100% recycled content paper board (lower carbon footprint), and is fully recyclable and FSC®- certied. We use UV inks that emit zero VOCs and have zero solvents. UV printing is a green technology, and it's safer for the environment and leaves an almost zero carbon footprint. Each product package is clearly marked with a How2Recycle symbol with instructions on how to properly recycle to curb packaging waste. In less than 1 year, Peach is expected to save an estimated 100,000 pounds of plastic that otherwise would have entered the landll. By replacing traditionally packaged skin and hair care products with Peach, consumers can save 4.44 pounds of plastic per year per person.

Furthermore, we believe that, while the plastic problem is serious, choosing to live sustainably doesn’t have to be. We want to bring optimism and cheerfulness to the space as a way of encouraging consumers that there are better choices out there that don’t require performance compromise. You’ll notice those positive vibes infused in every aspect of our product and brand packaging, from the fun shapes of the bars, to our vibrant brand colors, juicy scents and optimistic mantras. Making sustainability fun (with no compromise on performance) is at the heart of the Peach brand. 

Peach is also made without SLS, SLES, silicones, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, and is made with 100% natural fragrances. To ensure only the highest-quality formulas, the manufacturing process was also carefully selected. For example, Peach creates its hair care bars in small, artisanal batches to ensure the process uses very little energy and is low-waste.
