Small Giants, designed by Midday, was tasked with the giant responsibility of changing “yuck” to “yum” when it comes to snacking on insects. The design strategy was to ‘make the weird, wonderful,’ and with bold packaging and bright colors, the stigma of munching on crickets is coming to an abrupt end. We can’t get enough of the almost Matisse-inspired cricket illustrations and color combinations; this new planet-positive category is hopping with potential.
