Studio Projet Noir designed the packaging for Café Rico’s new coffee pod range. Using oversized typography and the brand’s classic red hue with pops of brown and white, you can’t ignore it. The brand’s history is reflected through the packaging design while still maintaining a modern and fresh identity system. The packaging gorgeously illustrates the brand’s down-to-earth and strong characteristics without being cliche or overdone.
Dating all the way back to 1886, C&M Borg Ltd. is a local company dealing in the importation of raw green coffee beans. Their carefully sourced beans come from Ethiopia, Kenya, Brazil, Guatemala, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, Indonesia and Burundi. They are also skilled roasters â roasting some of the highest quality coffees, using precise roasting methods and offering them via their shop in High Street, Hamrun and to some of the best cafes and restaurants here in Malta.
