KFC, purveyors of tasty fried chicken and sides, has a long history of celebrating the Christmas season all over the world. In Japan, KFC Christmas dinners are a big deal, as customers reserve their orders days in advance and account for about a third of annual sales in the island nation.

While KFC for Christmas isn’t the cultural phenomenon in the fast-food chain’s home nation, that doesn’t mean that the Colonel doesn’t serve up something distinctive and Christmas-y to Americans, as past gifts have included fried-chicken scented firelogs.

This year, the brand’s bucket gets a festive makeover as part of their holiday promotion.
