For many parents, putting a note in their kidsâ lunch is a way to connect with them, share a joke, inspire them to do well, or just to let the little ones know theyâre loved. But what about the over 63,000 school-aged visually impaired kids that canât read a note in their lunch box?
Since 2017, Rice Krispies has made it easier for parents to include a note in their childrenâs lunches by adding a blank, heart-shaped space on their packagingâbecause letâs face it, most kids arenât going to skip dessert. Seeing how much the packaging resonated with consumers, theyâve decided to make this packaging more accessible for parents of the blind by offering braille stickers in the shape of a blank heart on the package.
