Designed by Hayden Farms, LIKEMINDS’ packaging design for Better Eggs creates a captivating narrative. LIKEMINDS’ vision, encapsulated in the tagline “Making Everyday Better BETTER,” is an idea and a transformative perspective that redefines the category by celebrating the dedication that upholds the egg’s innate goodness. The packaging’s vibrant, heartwarming graphics draw inspiration from the essence of the egg itself, resulting in a dynamic and charming visual identity filled with a promise of positivity.

Hayden Farms came to us and said – “can you help us brand our egg business” and we said “sure can” – we were eggstatic. “Our business is no spring chicken. Four generations ago, Malcom Rasmusen started the egg farm that evolved into the company we’re talking about to you today. And if you’re wondering, at Better Eggs the chicken comes first every day. “ We learnt these hens aren’t just free range, they free range in a forest with over 100,000 regenerating native trees! Sleeping in a state of the art temperature-controlled barns – we thought what a magic story to tell! Our idea was simple – Making Every Day Better BETTER – but more than an idea it is a perspective and a method – shaking up the category by showing the care that keeps the goodness great. Our graphic inspiration came from the heart of the egg – a yolky pot of gold. Rich, bright and full of life and a belly full of joy! (surprisingly something not often talked about in the category). We wanted it to be loveable, like something you could easily wear on a t-shirt or a longboard skating down the street. A bold and fun system designed to disrupt in colourful ways Better eggy type meets better eggy colours all held together in an eggy grid and shapes that keep it all just right (and a little bit wobbly). Topped off with a bold and bright photography suite that makes you want to go out and eat more eggs. Yummo!!! To teach people exactly what better looks like our chief eggucator Forest was created, explaining all the eggy benefits and finer details of how we make better happen.
