If someone made a Mount Rushmore for comic book heroes, few would argue against including the friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man.
While many iterations exist, some of the most critical origin story bits have endured, like the call to fight against evil borne out of the tragic loss of his beloved Uncle, Ben Parker, and balancing his do-gooding with a personal life, retold and reinterpreted multiple times, a near universally known myth that also happens to have a bitchin’ theme song.
Most every iteration of Spider-folk faces a pragmatic issue —how to safely conceal their spider-suit. Doritos thought, why not a bag of chips, because what teenager doesn’t have a deep, abiding passion for snacks?
