Van Leeuwen Unveils New Packaging For Vegan Ice Cream Flavors

Published

Brooklyn-based ice cream maker Van Leeuwen is known for its rich and tasty ice cream, whose range includes vegan flavors just as decadent as its more traditional dairy offerings. Building on Pentagram’s 2016 design, Van Leeuwen has debuted a new look for the vegan range of flavors, tightening its packaging system.

Like their moo-powered counterparts, Van Leeuwen’s vegan pints each have their own color. The previous design was a more muted white pint across all the vegan varieties, using a secondary color to distinguish them. Now, all pints use white for copy, similar to Van Leeuwen’s limited-edition releases. Lids sport four rows of “vegan” along the side to differentiate the vegan offerings from their dairy counterparts.
