There’s a huge split in the population when it comes to the end of July. Some of us see half a summer left, but others are already grieving it.
But there’s no divide in thinking July gave us some great packaging design stories. From global rebrands and playful reinventions to record-holding redesigns and unexpected collabs, July delivered.
We watched major players make big moves, with Coca-Cola unveiling a newly refreshed global visual identity and Miller High Life getting a sharper spin on one of its most recognizable assets. We saw brands turn everyday products into collector’s items, from 7up’s Guatemala-inspired cans to a wine label you’re invited to draw on yourself with the perfect amount of playful nostalgia. And we found humor and craft in unlikely corners, whether that meant conceptual frozen crab dressed up as first-class mail, a ketchup brand with zero patience for boring, or an ice cream label that’s anything but shy.
