Student Week: Cheesy Cheese Chips

Published

While full of cheese innuendos, Cheesy Cheese Chips, a packaging concept created by student designer Irina Ushchekina, is a creative way of visually telling the product’s story. With bright yellow packaging paired with transparent circles, the chip bag insinuates a tasty block of swiss. I’ve always felt strongly that chip bags should have a see-through window so consumers can honestly know what they’re buying, and these cheese-inspired circles give enough away in an artful manner.

The packaging idea is based on cheese holes. Each bag has transparent cheese holes through which you can see the chips. The brand’s product line includes 3 types of cheese chips: triangular, oval and sticks. The holes in the package make it easy to see the shape of the chips and choose your favorite type.
