Let me introduce you to an innovative new Finnish product, Skinrock®. Skinrock® is a thin wall covering made of real natural stone. It’s like wallpaper but actually made of REAL stone. A crazy (and pretty cool) concept if you ask me. As the product quickly got a foothold in the retail market there became a need to elevate Skinrock®’s brand and clearly present a strong message in the market.

Skinrock® chose Design Studio Day as the team to take this project on, and they’ve brought a fresh tone of voice to this entire product family. In addition to the wall coverings, the company produces after care products to maintain the natural stone. This product line can be seen in the biggest interior design and hardware stores in Finland, and it was important for the packaging to make a strong impact. Design Studio Day wanted to create an art direction that merged the actual design product and the hardware store environment together. It sounds like quite a task, but somehow they have managed to successfully pull this off.
