Día Wines: Giving You Something To Sip On, No Matter What Your Mood

Rubio & del Amo worked to design colorfully dense, yet simply-illustrated labels for Día Wines, a set of wines whose names are indicative of the feelings their flavors and labels evoke.

By using warm and cool colors respectively, incorporating gradients, bold lines, and minimalist cartoon sketches, Rubio & del Amo masterfully crafted the individual labels for Día Azul, Día Gris, Día Nuevo and Día Claro. Each box’s design matches the bottle’s landscape design, formatted off-center, in a way that brings emphasis to the already linear nature of the graphic paintings.
