Nomadica’s Orange Wine Cans Bring Artful Design to Target

Canned wines have been popping up sporadically over the past few years, and orange wine is a variation that’s simultaneously been gaining traction. It only makes sense that Target would see the popularity of both of these.

Nomadica’s canned orange wine debuts at Target in March, marking the retailer’s first orange wine.

Nomadica’s wine can packaging, designed by Aiden Duffy, stands out with its mix of artistic design and minimal typography. The art on the orange can is “Plant Melody” by Yadi Liu, an abstract illustration with fluid, organic shapes that feels like a nod to both classic wine label art and the free-spirited nature of the brand. The typography is understated yet elegant; the brand’s logo is displayed in a refined serif, while the type of wine, such as “orange” or “rosé,” is written in a casual, handwritten script that adds a personal touch.
