McDonald’s has been putting in its second stringers to the marketing game lately, sometimes with great success. In 2023, the brand launched a beverage-focused restaurant concept named after CosMc, an extraterrestrial character from McDonaldland in the 1980s. Later, McDonald’s launched the Grimace shake, which memed its way into virality on TikTok.

Now, Birdie is getting a shot at being the center of attention with her own breakfast meal at McDonald’s Australia, or “Maccas” if you’re from Down Under. The Birdie’s Brekkie (Australian slang for “breakfast”) Meal consists of hash browns, a choice of breakfast entree made with a pink signature “Birdie’s Brekkie Sauce,” and a Birdie Strawberry Shortcake Frappé.
