There is a particular kind of unfairness in most design competitions: speculative work gets judged next to work that survived a client, a budget, a legal review and a production line. The unbuilt project loses, not because the thinking was worse, but because it never had to be sanded down.

The Concept track exists to remove that comparison. Unbuilt, speculative and student work is judged by a dedicated Concept Jury, against other ideas rather than against shipped product. Entry is $130.
