Carnada Natural Wine Reels You In with Graphic Charm

Published

Carnada Natural Wine’s packaging by Mirona Estudio is lively and graphic, with labels that feel like mini comic panels. The hand-drawn illustrations mix jagged lines, geometric shapes, and bold blocks of color, creating a sense of motion and edge. The typography is minimal, letting the illustration carry the weight. Even the wrapping paper keeps the energy going with all-over black-and-white sketches, making opening a bottle part of the experience.

The design challenge was to translate this vision into packaging that could work as bait for the contemporary hedonist. We asked ourselves: what would serve as true bait for someone in search of pleasure and authenticity? The answer led us to explore two seemingly distant yet equally rebellious worlds: Op Art and fanzines.

From this exploration, we developed four original illustrations, each representing a different wine variant. The proposal plays with the juxtaposition of styles and with visual narrative: first, the bait, the hypnotic pull of Op Art drawing the gaze color paired with the wax seal; then, upon closer inspection, the viewer realizes they’ve fallen into a trap, uncovering an irreverent and attitude-filled story within the illustration.

The result is a branding and packaging system that is intriguing, seductive, and rebellious, fully aligned with the philosophy behind the wine and the vibrant gastronomic community that brings it to life.
