Trick-or-treating is fun for kids, but at some point, nearly all of us stop going door-to-door or trunk-to-trunk dressed up cheerfully soliciting candy. In the race to be more mature and less child-like, we diss the tradition, belittling it as “kids stuff,” only to finally grow up and opine for that one night a year that the grown-ups relent and shower us with that sweet, sweet good stuff.

Fortunately for grown-ups, Burger King Puerto Rico teamed up with Ogilvy and De la Cruz for a Halloween promotion that replaces sticky, gooey, and sweet with charbroiled, juicy, and meaty, offering fun-sized Mini Whopper Juniors via its recently launched app. Making excellent and full use of the brand’s recent brand refresh, the mini Whoopers get wrapped like a traditional sweet, with the sides rolled and twisted rather than the customary burger fold.
