BrandOpus Redesigned Granville Island Brewing’s New Cans With An Adventure Just Around The Corner

Published

BrandOpus freshly released its redesign for one of Canada’s first microbreweries, Granville Island Brewing. The new packaging system better reflects its role at the heart of British Columbia through an illustrated embodiment of the brewery on one side and the adventures around the corner on the other. The identity works throughout the range of products, allowing each beer’s characteristics to shine while feeling part of a complete brand identity. BrandOpus commissioned illustrator Antony Miller to design the graphic illustrations, and the perspective invites consumers in for their next beer-motivated experience.

One of Canada’s first microbreweries, Granville Island Brewing, today launches a new brand identity to better reflect the role it plays, at the heart of British Columbia (BC), in the west coast city of Vancouver. Re-establishing a sense of place, the new identity system seeks to reflect the lives of those who live in the province and help them to do more of what they love. BrandOpus, the global branding agency behind the impactful redesign, partnered with Six Pints Collective (owned by Molson Coors Brewing Company), owners of Granville Island Brewing, to craft a new strategy, identity and brand world. The new brand look and feel is launching now across packaging and venue.
