Bouchon Bottles Up Laid-Back, Artful Sips

Published

Bouchon’s labels, designed by Anouchka d’Oreye, feature soft, abstract fields of color.

Each bottle carries a loose, almost scribbled logotype, giving the wine an easygoing, personal touch. The blurred shapes echo sun-drenched afternoons, closer to Matisse cutouts or retro art prints than anything typically seen in the category. It’s a laid-back approach that avoids clichés and instead frames the bottle as an object you’d bring to a picnic, not a pretentious tasting room.
