Viral TikTok trends have a way of hogging the spotlight. They ruin previously smooth-running supply chains, disrupting forecasted trends and altering formerly set business models. While it might seem like these viral trends take over only for the worst, sometimes they occur for the better.

One of the most recent TikTok sensations was the pancake cereal movement. Essentially, someone took leftover pancake batter and used it to make mini-pancakes. Plus, instead of eating these bite-sized goodies by themselves, people added them to a bowl, poured milk on top, and called it “pancake cereal.”
