Pickles or brined cucumbers, also known as gherkins, are a popular addition to meals or as a standalone snack. The crisp, tangy, and sometimes spicy pickles have a satisfying crunch and distinctly pleasant aroma.

In celebration of National Pickle Day, November 14th, Conagra-owned Vlasic partnered with candlemaker Candier by Ryan Porter to bring fill pickle fans’ homes with the authentic smell of dill pickles.

The candle comes in a metal-capped pickle jar with a Vlasic-inspired label. Jovny the stork, Vlasic’s mascot, appears on the candle label and lid. Vlasic and Candier, however, reset the bar for novelty brand candles with a pour that emulates the real deal; dark-green, long shapes resemble pickles, with a lighter green color that imitates pickle brine, and bubbles add to the realism.
