Manishka Khanna is a student at the Academy of Art University in San Franciso. She was tasked with designing a product line for a brand not known for this category for a recent project.
In true creative fashion, Manishka chose Mrs. Myers, a brand known for their home cleaning products, and created a line of power tools. Inspired by women’s rights moving forward in the 80s, the packaging design is reminiscent of the aesthetics of the 80s while still staying true to the Mrs. Myers brand aesthetics.
The result is a packaging design that looks as though it could hit the shelves of department stores, well, tomorrow. I, personally, am not a handyman, err, woman, but I’d be willing to learn if I could buy power tools that come in packaging like this.
