Backdrop And Dunkin' Release Donut-Inspired Paint

It's often said that one eats with the eyes first, which is to say that part of the pleasure of consuming food comes from its appearance. For donuts, brightly colored toppings like sugary frosting, sprinkles, or other sweet and enticing toppings almost always lure us in. Usually, those fried rings of deliciousness seldom disappoint.
Not surprisingly, coffee and donut behemoth Dunkin' has long sported frosting-like orange and pink corporate colors, and their visual identity certainly helps draw folks in, crafting a bright and cheery atmosphere worthy of the donut.
Superfans of Dunkin that have wanted to live their best donut life in rooms splashed with those sweet pastry-inspired colors can now pick up paint with Dunkin’s latest collaboration with home paint brand Backdrop. The new collection features half-gallon cans of Bright Pink and Bright Orange in water-soluble, easy-to-clean formulas. The can's labels feature the colors with a white background reminiscent of a freshly-packed dozen of Dunkins' finest.
"Dunkin' is an iconic American brand, and we couldn't be more thrilled to launch their first paint colors. The sensorial overlap between donuts and icing and sprinkles and paint, combined with Dunkin's vibrant brand colors, make for the perfect collaboration," said Natalie Ebel, co-founder of Backdrop, via a press release. "We hope brand fans have just as much fun bringing these colors to life in their homes as we did [in] creating them."
The limited-edition paints are available from Backdrop now until supplies last.
