Cunhapê is a word that is derived from the Spanish word “cuñape” which is a cheese bread from Bolivia. This snack is a crunchy cheesy bread that is packaged in beautifully bold illustrated pouches. Each pouch is not only packed with bites of goodness, but the overall identity packs a punch that’s both timeless and modern. With a color palette based on the three primary colors, you could say that the packaging is effortless, reflective of the snack’s simplicity. The illustrated characters add a fun, whimsical sense without being too overwhelming. Overall, the only thing cheesy about this packaging is the snack that comes inside of it.

The challenge for the project was to create an identity that was modern, timeless and at the same time cheerful and that showed refinement. And the brand would reflect on the packaging communication.
