Taller de Hierbas: Natural Beauty With Grace

by Shawn Binder on 10/12/2020 | 3 Minute Read

Treat yourself to something beautiful and natural with Taller de Hierbas.

The brand design effectively utilizes a more subdued color palette to convey the natural ingredients contained within the products. The logo is a connected line shape, furthering the idea that all things in nature play into each other. The typeface for Taller de Hierbas conveys authority and luxury, and the illustrations on the bottles speak of the herbs used to create the products.

No two products use the same color either, just like everything in nature has its own special elements. Everything ties together pleasantly, creating a branding system that feels high-end, yet the perfect gift to give your mother just to say "I love you.”

"El Taller de Hierbas is a family business that produces skincare and wellness products out of herbs and different natural ingredients. The company is based in El Retiro, a municipality of Antioquia (Colombia).

From the beginning, there was something special about this brand. All their products were handmade with love in small batches by a four-member family. Their work inspired us to create a visual system made with pencil-drawn herb illustrations representing the handmade process, mixed with straight grids that simulate the shelves where all their creations are stored. Finally, we kept using colors as the brand did to differentiate each product; this gives a fresh style to the whole brand.

We have been working together for a long time, starting from a new brand identity to almost all packaging and product labels, including a custom-made typeface designed for headings."
