Oatly is a sustainable Swedish manufacturer of oat-based vegan foods and drinks. In order to deliver brand attributes on a limited budget, Forsman & Bodenfors developed a packaging system that would act as part advertising space, calling out brand attributes and benefits on pack. With such a "clean" product, the packaging reflects Oatly's commitment to health and sustainability by maintaining a straight-forward approach, perfectly captured with the tagline, Havredryck, which is Swedish for "oat drink."
"This product is as good as it gets. Water, organic Swedish oats and a little bit of sea salt for flavor. That’s it. All the goodness you get naturally comes from the goodness hidden inside oats. Then this product is packaged in a process that allows it to be stored without refrigeration. That means you can take it to the summer cottage and store it in the hall and then pop it into the fridge to chill before using."
