One of the most recognizable supermarket pasta brands is celebrating its 200th anniversary with a charming upgrade from Auge Design. Agnesi’s nautical new look is super fitting of the Italian company’s lengthy legacy, but also has enough retro-modern charm that we could imagine it popping up in a Wes Anderson movie (which is definitely a thing right now).
The instantly recognizable sans serif logo is bigger and borderless— kind of like the free-roaming ship in its logo, which looks more stylized and stripped down at the same time. The ship sails on timeless blue nautical stripes over a little window of the pasta, resulting in a brand new style that’s still totally on brand. To up the cinematic ante, there’s even attractive illustrations of the pasta hovering over the Mediterranean Sea that look not unlike ’60s movie posters.
