Brigette King designed the minimalistic packaging for Solisa, an Australian wine brand that is created specifically for a Japanese market.
“Solisa is an Australian wine brand, the name is derived from the Latin word for sun ‘Solis’ and the abbreviation of South Australia ‘SA’, together ‘Solisa’ means Sun of South Australia. This wine packaging was targeted towards the Japanese market, the design is therefore minimal to appeal to the Japanese aesthetic style with subtle cues and embellishments. I wanted to convey the Australian heritage of the brand to Japanese consumers by highlighting the element of the wine being grown in the Australian sun. A sliding label was created that contained the brand history and wine notes while acting like the sun rising and setting when used.”
