Finding alternative plastic packaging materials is greatly important. Metsä Group, a Finnish forest industry group that operates in international markets, and Fiskars Group, the global home of design-driven indoor and outdoor living brands, have put their heads together to do so. The two teams created the Muoto 3D inner packaging and box made of Metsä Board’s folding boxboard, which encloses Fiskars ReNew scissors designed from recycled material. The lightweight yet stiff packaging offers excellent protection while smartly battling excess waste.

Metsä Group, in coordination with Fiskars Group, is introducing a new fiber-based gift packaging. The innovative Muoto 3D inner packaging and box made of Metsä Board’s folding boxboard encases Fiskars ReNew scissors made of recycled material. Now in its demo stage, it is a sustainable, plastic-free alternative that comes in various sizes and shapes and can be tailored to a multitude of end uses.
