The perfumer’s style has always veered old school, and her deep respect for tradition is immediately discernible when looking at the scents’ new designs from Gordon Landenberger and Mira Moore. With their scalloped glass, charming black ribbons, and flat bases, they bring to mind classic bottles by Annick Goutal and Guerlain, all while feeling perfectly aligned with Zappas’ unique charms and strengths. The labels continue to evoke old-fashioned French houses with immaculate script typography, and Anna Bane’s sweet illustrations help each perfume differentiate itself with a sneak preview of what to expect from the juice inside.
