Grey Goose is a premier French vodka brand that has been part of Barcardi’s portfolio since 2004. Since its market introduction in 1997, its become one of the most popular premium vodka brands globally.

Recently, Grey Goose announced a new type of vodka called Altius. Like other Grey Goose vodkas, Altius is made from winter wheat sourced from Picardy, France, but instead of using water from the Cognac region, Grey Goose is distilled using Alpine water. Furthermore, Grey Goose uses filtered water chilled to -24°C to simulate the high-altitude glacial atmosphere of the Alps, which induces crystalization. Grey Goose states this crystalization produces a smoother taste and velvety mouthfeel.
