Some are called bodegas (say it with me, bo-de-gas) and mini-marts. Some you might simply know as the corner store; whatever the name, convenience stores are like a small oasis in the neighborhood. Usually, within walking distance, these outlets are stocked with cold drinks, hot coffee, rolling papers, lighters, snacks, and other essentials. It’s little wonder why many stoners have a heartfelt appreciation for the corner shop.
Cannabis and lifestyle brand Jeeter is tapping into that fondness for the convenience store with an ambitious multi-state pop-up experience called Jeeter Mart. The tour will stop at dispensaries in California, Arizona, and Michigan and features a mid-century convenience store design reminiscent of chain 7-Eleven. The fully immersive experience includes bodega basics, such as a shopping basket stand, shelves stocked with goodies, themed packaging, a cooler, and even scratch-offs. Doob tubes are turning in rollers similar to those used for hot dogs, while Jeeter Mart bags and boxes find inspiration in convenience store packaging. Unlike actual mini-marts, however, the products at Jeeter Mart come infused with cannabis. Jeeter Marts will also feature merchandise and the Jeeter Mart exclusive Piña Colada strain.
