Kuudes Helsinki developed the alluring and colorful brand identity for the Finnish ice cream brand, 3 Friends. Straying from the norm with the format of their recently released ice cream bars, they wanted their branding to match. A bright orange as the main brand color with contrasting pastel pink, green, and blue go well together to bring out a playfulness, while still maintaining an edge. The minimalist, high-contrast photos of the ice cream bars, as well as the hands holding them, emphasize the quality and attention-to-detail of independently owned ice cream company products.
3 Friends, the beloved craft ice cream manufacturer based in Finland, decided to become the first independent brand to expand their range to include ice cream sticks. As a new challenger in the market, the packaging would compete with huge international brands that, for years, have dominated the category.
