Green Light Tea Garden: Eco-friendly Organic Tea

Start your kettles! The packaging design for Green Light Tea Garden is gorgeous and features die cuts that reveal vivid and beautiful illustrations that show how much the brand cares about nature. The key cut-outs feature clouds, mountains, water, and forests — key features of our ecosystem that the packaging design pays homage to. The illustrations on the package are ornate and incorporate foliage, animals, and the elements to create a visually stimulating experience. The package itself is made from used tea leaves, proving that you don't need to use intense dyes and complex designs to create a package that resonates.

Green Light Tea Garden is located at upstream of Feitsui Reservoir of Beishi River in Pinglin. By adopting organic planting from founder, the brand's mission is to protect the environment and it's indigenous species. To work in concert with action, the packaging is made from used tea leaves as tea residue paper.

The packaging design has combined with four creatures in Pinglin(Collared Owlet, Formosan muntjac, Lophura swinhoii, Emerald green tree frog). The packaging has integrated elements of the local environment by illustrations of clouds, mountains, forests, and water. The illustrations were placed onto the package through a process using eco-friendly ink and presented as a product that has symbiosis with nature.

Not only is the tea tasty, but also people will have sense of connection through their environment.
