The Color Analyst is responsible for supporting their assigned brands in color and print related functions and deliverables. The Color Analyst core functions are collaborating with their respective (Sr) Technical Color Manager(s) on executing client-specific color solutions, tasks, and deliverables.Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Execute client-specific color deliverables for assigned brand(s)
  • Color creation and integration for assigned brand(s)
  • Drawdown analysis, validation, and communication 
  • Color standard approval and communication
  • Print quality job creation in client-chosen software tool(s)
  • Prepare data for monthly and/or quarterly brand and printer reports
  • Post-production sample analysis
  • Client or printer-driven sample review, validation, and report generation or audit

Ideal Qualifications Include:

  • Knowledge of spectrophotometers, colorimetry, measurement conditions, and use of equipment—both stand-alone and tethered to software tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot root cause and best course of action when issues arise 
  • Knowledge of the following color and print software tools: ChromaQA, ColorCert, ColorIQC, ColorMaster, GMG, MeasureColor, Mellow Colour, pressSIGN
  • Associates degree in Printing, Graphic Communications, or related field is preferred
