Description

As a part of the award-winning JFW Creative Team, the Creative Project Manager has a passion for creative, and believes the best creative work is built on a backbone of organization, planning, and communication. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role will be responsible for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing a range of creative projects across print, digital, and more. The ideal candidate has experience working in an in-house or agency setting, managing projects ranging from day-to-day tactical executions to integrated 360 marketing campaigns.  

  • Receive, convert, schedule, and assign a variety of creative projects via project management software (Workfront) and build project timelines to set and communicate deadlines for key tasks
  • Ensure that the creative team has all they need to do their work (e.g. the right files, creative brief, content, clear deadlines). Ensure that project requirements are clearly understood by all involved
  • Manage resources and deadlines across creative team; adjust and communicate project schedules accordingly
  • Manage internal iterations of large deliverables prior to client presentation; work collaboratively with Creative/Art Directors to ensure deliverables are hitting on supplied briefs / requirements
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners to organize projects and build stakeholder consensus to meet project deadlines
  • Manage and direct projects with external freelance designers/vendors as needed
  • Request and manage quotes from external print vendors; manage vendor timelines
  • Ensure proper project close out, including managing archiving and metadating process of project files via digital asset management software (Widen)

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years project management experience; creative agency (in-house or external) preferred
  • Experience using/managing cloud-based project management software; Workfront preferred
  • Experience managing/maintaining a DAM; Widen preferred
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of requirements/specifications for print and digital creative assets
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-starter who works well independently
  • Organized, accurate and obsessed with details
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable with changing priorities
  • Ability to toggle seamlessly between the big picture and executional details
  • Collaborative spirit with a positive, forward-thinking attitude and ability to roll up your sleeves
  • Bonus if you have an understanding of the wine industry: how wine is made, marketed, and sold
