Description

The Design Manager position provides “hands on” strategic design from concept development to polished package design approaches for new product packaging and brand re-stages.  Has  a broad range of experience on national brand package design, with strong emphasis on food and beverages, electronics, household products,pharma OTC and personal care. We seek high levels of creativity and fresh thinking . Knowledge and experience designing for different substrates and structure types is important.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  1. High level creative ideation and execution
  2. Ability to work independently and in a team environment under the supervision of creative team leadership
  3. Responsible for time assessment and collaboration with creative team and account managers to insure goals are met from both creative and budget standpoints
  4. Participate in creative reviews by listening and sharing perspectives
  5. Working with and directing illustrators and photographers
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to designers
  7. Motivate and inspire designers
  8. Hand on role with expectations of creative suite skills and ability to deliver both digital and tangible creative solutions

Job Specifications:

Minimum of 5 years experience

Background on leading CPG brands

Mastery of illustrator and Photoshop
