AtlantaFresh Milk Packaging, Published 2015

The brightest milk packaging on the shelf at Whole Foods nationally in 2015, this design grew organically from the AtlantaFresh yogurt color coded packaging—sold since 2008 through Whole Foods Markets and other natural foods retailers. Labels were chosen over plastic shrinkwrap to continue the tradition that grew out of the company's original hand applied labels on small batch products. Since 2008 the light blue, dark blue and red Pantone palette was used to code the yogurt as Nonfat, 2% Lowfat, or Whole Milk. The milk product line’s package design colors grew from that system. The buttermilk was the first bright yellow in the dairy category. When all the milk flavors were displayed together, the shelf presence dominated the other predominantly white milk packaging.
