This is a limited edition release from the House Of Angostura - an iconic and historic distillery in Trinidad and Tobago. Operating for nearly 200 years, Angostura makes some of the most awarded rums in the world every year. This special edition is only available in the Caribbean in a run of only 1,800 bottles. Preoccupied in Sydney was engaged to develop the branding, design of this release - Our approach was all about composing our own visual symphony - through textures, typography and imagery. Our approach was to take subtle influences in the foliage of the Caribbean, with rich green notes and beautiful flowing lines in the long leaves, criss crossing and meshing into a texture that is subtle but eye catching. We balanced the green and blue hues with a gorgeous debossed gold foil and embossed, spot varnished white for the labels. Overall the design and the liquid work in perfect symphony to deliver a best in class visual and taste experience that any rum fan will love.
