BUFFALO BILL'S BREWERY

The objective of this project was to rebrand and design new packaging for an existing beer brand. Buffalo Bill's is a Hayward local craft brewery. It opened in 1983 and was one of the first craft brewpubs in the United States. New brand identity was created for the packaging. I chose to redesign their very famous and locally loved Pumpkin Flavored Beers, and to add a new CBD Lemon flavor for the beer. Their existing packaging had illustrations, so keeping in mind the heritage of the brand I tried to keep the illustrations, elevate the brand identity and make typography work well along with it. There is a total of three typefaces used in the designs which are Oscine, Taurunum Ferrum & Boucherie Cursive in multiple weights. Warmer tones of colors were used for the design keeping in mind the fall & Pumpkin Flavor theme.
