ENSAYOS DE LA ENÓLOGA BY CASA BAUZÁ

We were asked to design labels for a small batch of wines, called ‘Ensayos de la Enóloga’ (‘Essays of the Winemaker’) which are different tests that the winemaker Natalia Poblete of Casa Bauzá, developed by keeping the same carmenere wine in containers of different materials; flexcube, concrete egg and fudre, to obtain different results that then combined form the ‘Presumed’ wine from the same boutique vineyard. We designed this series of labels as files, with the same linear base, adding the material of the container for each bottle written in calligraphy, to show the process that the winemaker did when developing the tests, for the front label we kept in black color for the base and a pastel color palette for each wine, that also appears on the back label, along with a small illustration of the container and a text that explains the process.
