Southern California is arguably the burger capital of the country. Sure, everyone has heard of In-N-Out, and thanks to a Superbowl Halftime show shoutout, Tam’s in Compton. But the Southland is also the birthplace of McDonald’s, Carl’s Jr., Jack in the Box, and Fatburger.
California is also known for its quality cannabis products. One California cannabis brand, Kiva, has teamed up with Fatburger to create THC-infused ketchup to perfectly compliment any burger meal, just ahead of 4/20, the officially unofficial holiday.
Kiva and Fatburger’s infused ketchup comes in single-serving sachets containing 10mg of THC. The front of the sachet features an illustration of a classic ketchup squeeze bottle like you’d see on the table at your favorite burger spot. The typography is superb, as is typical with Kiva’s usual packaging design.
“Every year, we look to bring our own special flavor to the 4/20 holiday,” Taylor Fischer, VP of marketing for Fatburger, said in a press release. “Kiva was the perfect fit from a collaboration standpoint as they not only have an incredibly strong California fan base like Fatburger, but the quality of their edibles is unmatched in the cannabis space, similar to how we are viewed in the burger industry. Our special sauce will be sure to take the munchie game to a higher level.”
Kiva and Fatburger’s cannabis ketchup will be available at select Artist Tree and Sweet Flower Los Angeles locations starting April 6th, 2023, and is available while supplies last.
