Crema Colada's Packaging Takes Cues From Vintage Sunscreen Packaging Designs And The Result Is A Tropical Sensation

Designers Carolane Godbout Isabel and Marina Lemay found inspiration for the Crèma Colada brand from timelessly glowing, beachy days. The creamy alcoholic beverage features packaging that takes cues from classic suntan lotions, giving the design a beautifully eclectic and relaxed aesthetic. When brands can find inspiration from entirely separate categories that reflect the same ethos and messaging, the result is typically a stunning, inspired, and clever design, and Crèma Colada's packaging is just that.

Who wouldn’t be inspired by hot summer days spent in pure relaxation? Our inspiration for the Crèma Colada brand comes from timelessly radiant times that are just perfect for this creamy alcoholic beverage with tropical Piña Colada flavours. In collaboration with Acolyte, Distillerie Wabasso warms hearts all year long with a classic design inspired by suntan lotions of the past.

It’s fun in the sun, worry-free and always bikini-ready! Crèma Colada not only smells like summer, but tastes and looks like summer too! Along with visual references that channel suntan lotion ads of the ’80s and ’90s, Crèma Colada’s confident, colourful and sunshiny messaging comes with a taste of togetherness. Because a day spent lounging by the pool can easily leadto a long and lovely evening.
