The Public Spirit's Liquor Bottle Redesign Is Much More Impactful

by Chloe Gordon on 08/09/2022 | 2 Minute Read

Studio Chong redesigned The Public Spirit's liquor bottles. Taking the brand from a more muted space to one full of bright, bold personality, the new bottle design makes much more of an impact. While the brand's iconic hand illustration stayed put, it was revamped, enlarged, and given an entirely new aesthetic. Further, the typography now feels more engaging, and the bright colors are a call to action, er, drink.

The Public Spirit is a special breed of booze brand. They believe that no one should go hungry, so they turn good times into good deeds. Every bottle sold feeds four people in need. They had been growing all over the UK, and found that their consumers were resonating more and more with the social good they did. So they came to Studio Chong looking for a rebrand, and a way to hone in on the positive impact of their drinks. Their new positioning? Liquor with a conscience. Studio Chong shifted The Public Spirit from a nice craft rum to an honest, unambiguous drink for the people. A top shelf bevvie that stands out because it stands for something important. The Public Spirit is here to be enjoyed with friends, whilst embracing the spirit of kindness; gifting a perfect stranger a vital meal. Nobody knew they could feel this great the morning after the night before.
