Oluno’s Calming Packaging Will Lull You To Sleep

Published

Oluno is a nature-based sleep aid with packaging designed by KittsoKatsu featuring sleep wave reminiscent gradient shapes from the three phases of sleep as a core element of the brand identity. The cool, calming purple-toned colors signify that it’s time for bed, with neon yellow accents acting as a night light against the solid lilac packaging. All these distinctive branding elements combine to differentiate it from other sleeping pills on the market.

Oluno – our name and brand identity for an innovative nature-based sleep aid for a European healthcare company.

The name Oluno is composed of the Hawaiian olu olu, which means ease.

The ending of Oluno -no refers to the night (noctem) as well as to new (nova).

The message of the name is also reflected in the design. As a core element, sleep waves from the three sleep phases characterize all applications. The sleep waves express lightness and pleasant dream worlds.

Warm colors continue to contribute to the name and at the same time create a differentiation at the POS from the otherwise always identical market for sleeping pills, which are essentially blue and white.

The graphic design, as an expression of effectiveness, is broken up by playful illustrations that underpin the aspect of the natural ingredients of the sleeping pill.

With these elements, let’s lie down and enjoy a good, balanced sleep!
