It seems like there’s a beverage for just about everything right now. There’s adaptogen-filled matcha, a coconut-based juice, and stylish kombucha. What else did we need?
As it turns out, the beverage industry was wholly missing a naturally flavored sparkling water with caffeine for the stylishly sporty demographic.
That’s where Almighty Active comes in. It’s a beverage for the office, an after-lunch pick-me-up, or a bolt of clean energy before a workout. Made with only organic fruit, veggies, and superfoods containing vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, it’s a simple beverage for a wide demographic, with uncomplicated packaging to boot.
Dreamed up by Marx Design, the active line beverage’s cans are a perfect off-white with retro-inspired graphics on each can. The brand’s logo sits firmly at the top, with the flavors resting directly below. To the right of the text is the brand’s easily recognized graphics with a color palette determined by taste. The brand’s waters and juice cans are similar to the active line but are much brighter and more playful with color.
“We looked to the days when sports were more sports and less dollars and business. We landed in the mid-1970s, when athletic fashion was at its peak with crew socks and short shorts abound,†said Marx Design of the branding and identity.
“Inspired by vintage Olympic uniforms, merchandise, and logos, we found the perfect aesthetic to illustrate this fresh new active offering,†they added. “Introducing racing stripes to the existing Almighty logo created the perfect pack architecture framework illustrating benefit and more functional aspects such as flavor, and creating a simple but clear range navigation tool. This new ‘A’ treatment has opened the door for future range expansion that feels unique, adapts to categories but still looks distinctly Almighty.â€
