Gucci Unveils Its First Collector’s Cocktail, Elisir d’Elicriso

Florence-based Italian brand Gucci is well-known for its clothing, handbags, and accessories. But the Tuscan fashion house’s latest must-have isn’t something worn unless you’re in the habit of having drinks thrown at you.

Gucci’s Osteria and expert mixologist Giorgio Bargiani have created Elisir d’Elicriso, a liqueur that combines Tuscan herbs and essential oils, like Helichrysum italicum, and pays homage to Tuscany.

What’s more, the elixir comes in exquisite and chic packaging, as one would expect from Gucci. The bottle straddles the line between fragrance and alcohol in design. The faceted surface and pink tint recall perfume bottles, while the broad shoulder, long neck, and topper are typical for alcohol packaging. Instead of a conventional label, Elisir d’Elicriso wears a fashionable green tag with a beautiful illustration featuring a mysterious eye. Paying tribute to Gucci’s Giardino 25 cafe and bar, a 25 label sits on the top of the bottle. That there’s no traditional label plastered to the bottle also leaves buyers with a pretty swell decanter.

Elisir d’Elicriso is only available for shipping in Italy and served at Gucci’s Giardino 25 cafe and bar.
