“Sasa in Wonderland” is a puzzle series with beautifully colorful packaging designed by Evan Wijaya. The story-book style illustrations come to life, and the side of the puzzle packaging continues the “story-book” aesthetic. Puzzles already seemingly have the power of transporting you through time and space, but the graphics and color used throughout this packaging system continue that feeling even further.
“Sasa in Wonderland” is a series of puzzle made in collaboration between Rekarekat Puzzles and Gambir Studio to celebrate the latest campaign of Sasa, a leading food and seasoning company in Indonesia. The puzzles feature three original artworks by Indonesian illustrators: Hana Augustine, Arief Putra, and Alfeus Christie. The three artworks in this collection can be brought to life with an augmented reality feature by Gambir Studio. The puzzles are packaged in hard boxes designed by Evan Wijaya. The special edition box was inspired by children fairy tale books and designed to work well with the three artworks. The side of the box was made to look like a Victorian-esque book spine, especially when displayed together.
