Jet-Puffed Kicks Off S'more Season With Glow-In-The-Dark Packaging

Summertime is prime camping season. For most folks, time in the great outdoors means campfires, stargazing, and s’mores. To kick off s’more season, Jet-Puffed has unveiled new packaging designed to make finding the bag of marshmallows easier at night.

The new packaging of Camp S’more’s marshmallow features glow-in-the-dark elements such as a crescent moon, stars, smiling marshmallows around the campfire, and the Jet-Puffed wordmark. Additionally, Jet-Puffed is encouraging fans to “s’moregaze,” which is just stargazing with marshmallow-based treats. Jet-Puffed also bought a star registry for a constellation they call “S’morion.” A QR code on the bag activates an Augmented Reality (AR) experience that helps find Jet-Puff’s totally legit and official constellation in the sky.

“As we gear up for the first day of summer and prime marshmallow roasting season, we wanted to give fans a way to enjoy their s’mores no matter if it’s day or night,” said Samantha Mills, associate director of brand communications at Kraft Heinz (parent company of Jet-Puffed), in a press release. “The new glow-in-the-dark packaging makes it easy to find your bag of marshmallows when the sun sets around the glowing campfire, giving your tastebuds a delicious treat with every bite.”

Jet-Puffed’s new glow-in-the-dark packaging is available now at Walmart and other retailers for $2.99.
