Harnessing The Creative Freedom Of Beer Packaging With Blossom Beer
by Chloe Gordon on 05/13/2022 | 2 Minute Read
Beer packaging has the unique capability of being effervescently spontaneous. Where other markets have rigid standards and rules, beer packaging is much more freeform.
Áron Farsang designed Blossom Beer cans with stark creativity in mind. The pastel-hued labels are complementary to the beautifully bizarre illustrations and playful typography. These beer labels are wonderfully exploratory and will definitely add personality to any happy hour hangs.
This project is a collection of nine beers, offering consumers basically three types of beer. These three types are Regular (5% vol.), Strong (8% vol.) and Extra Strong (12% vol.). Each bottle has been given a unique character, indicating the flavour of the beer, and the printing of the labels distinguishes the three types, with the weaker ones being printed in one colour, the strong ones in two colours and the strongest ones in four colours. I used my own font for the typography, Teresa.
